CURIOSITY, A GOOD EYE AND COURAGE
Hey!
I’m Sophia, a 23 years old business school student, and a photography lover. As a keen traveller, I decided to document many of my travels and photographic projects.
I categorised my pictures into three different groups: travel, lifestyle, and people. In the latter one, you can find my first photo serial «Freundschaft lebt von Gemeinsamkeit – eine christlich-muslimische Freundschaft fotografisch dokumentiert» («Friendship lives on common ground – a Christian-Islamic friendship documented photographically»). Here, in the context of the attacks on the newspaper Charlie Hebdo, I dealt with the religion Islam and its present prejudices, asking the question whether a Christian-Islamic friendship is actually possible. The photo serial is my answer to that and has been shown in an exhibition on acrylic glass.
Moreover, I have been operating a blog about my 7-month travel to South America, where I documented the most memorable days. You can find it in the menu under the heading “blog”.
